Now home to the Vintage Synthesizer Museum

The main gallery and stage provide an ideal venue for small arts performances, arts or health classes, popup shops and restaurants, book readings and symposia, corporate meetings and the like. The gallery features 10 ft. ceilings, oversized solid alder wood doors, custom plywood shelving and counters, 2 ADA-accessible restrooms, effective sound and climate control, and ample natural lighting during the day. We have preserved the 1920’s Art Deco style storefront, complete with flagstone base wall and cantilevered awning with stainless steel trim.

Front Courtyard

Available for Art Shows & Private Events

Our ‘front yard’ features an expanse of pavement surrounded by colorful growths of bougainvillea and planters full of succulents and trees. Since we are in Los Angeles, we can host events and performances outdoors almost all year-round. Food trucks and other similar mobile vendors can be parked off-street in this area. It can also accommodate bounce houses, pavilion tents, outdoor games, and other outdoor activities.

Residence

Home to the KSwick_Collection Gallery

The curated collection of art, furnishings, and design collectibles plus the expansive outdoor spaces surrounding the house provide the perfect setting for the idyllic Los Angeles lifestyle in the heart of a trendy neighborhood. The kitchen boasts polished black granite floors, stainless steel cabinets, butcher block and granite countertops, floor-to-ceiling tiled walls, and large glass doors and windows that flood the space with natural light. The dining area features solid wood Midcentury and Art Deco furniture and a modern display of design collectibles. The lounge enjoys wraparound windows, plush leather seating, and SO MANY plants!

Creative Workspaces

4 Versatile Studios

CAI members are invited to make these small private worskpaces their own! We have had private artist studios and offices, as well as more publically accessible hair salons and other appointment-based small businesses.

Each unit includes a sink, storage, AC and WiFi. Collective members also share access to a bathroom, refrigerator, shared workspace/lobby (pictured above) and rear courtyard.

Apartments

2 Micro-Apartments

The private apartments include oversized kitchens with stainless steel cabinets and a bathroom with tiled showers. The apartments also boast large front patios, gracious glass doors and windows, and an abundance of skylights.

Residents share access to the shared workspace, which has the building's laundry facilities, and the rear courtyard (pictured above).
